Hi! We are Kate and Lyns
We've created a modern format of mentorship for retail, encouraging ideas and sharing knowledge.
Our story
It all began in 2009 at Monsoon Accessorize in London when we met fresh out of university, both graduating from fashion & retail related degrees, leaving our part time jobs working in retail stores, and excited to start our Buying careers in the most well known and loved high street retail accessories brand.

​Fast forward to 2024 we have over 30+ years experience combined in Buying, worked with over 35+ product categories for a wide range of of retail businesses, and channels including high street, luxury fashion & garden centres.

Our careers have taken us in very different directions as we have climbed the buying ladder to our most recent positions of Head of Buying, however we have always remained great friends who talk about our retail roles regularly - definitely weekly, if not daily! Especially during the tough trading times when you just need some reassurance that you’re not the only one in the thick of it!
Why we started this...
Our experience working across multiple business sizes and a wide variety of product types has led us to create a boutique retail consultancy offering a flexible approach to suit any needs and budgets.
Our aim is to create a supportive and collaborative space to inspire and inform retail businesses, we want to share knowledge and encourage creative thinking to empower Buyers, Businesses & Brands to build, grow and scale product ranges.
